The Last Chapter (also known as The Last Chapter [PART I]) was an FNaF 4 fan-made game developed by Nicchi and Saalvage. The game were planned to have 3 and 4 parts that was going to be uploaded separately by Nicchi and Saalvage, until the game was eventually cancelled.
Description
The FNaF Fangame "The Last Chapter" was originally supposed to be a FNaF Fangame with 4 Nights and a "Coma" Mode. However, there where some extreme issues and Night 1 eventually went missing. But dont be scared: We will revive the Idea of the Game & Remake all of it, only better & far more polished. We will also split it into 4 Parts, everyone of them having one 12-Minute long night with a extra Menu, a good & bad ending and a lot of eastereggs. Part 1 & 3 will be uploaded by me, while part 2 & 4 will be uploaded by Official Alpha. We will take our time and reach our limit to make those 4 Games feel good, smooth & scary.
Trivia
This was a prototype version of Insanity. According to Dormitabis Q&A 3, Insanity was inspired by The Last Chapter when it had similar designs compared to Nightmare and Insane animatronics.[1]
The game itself was also announced around mid-2015, a few months before Insanity was announced in October.
Interestingly, this game had an old Game Jolt page simply titled The Last Chapter [Fanmade], the page was repeatedly taken down for unknown reasons.[2]
Despite the game being cancelled, Saalvage still released a short teaser game called "TLC: 1987".
