"The Return to Freddy's 4 Remastered" was a projected extension to the original TRTF4 by Atlas Emerging, the developer of Biosource; the project would feature a recode and some new features. Only a part of the project, the "Endless Mode", was finished and released as a standalone application.
The game was announced on October 2018, when he was taking a break for The Storyteller's Son for 2 weeks[1], he announced his secret Halloween project called The Return to Freddy's 4 Remastered is in the works, and he only shows images for the game's screenshots on Discord.
