The Backrooms Simulator is a realistic horror/puzzle game based on the concept of the backrooms.

Completely Free Roam
Puzzles/Chases/Jumpscares
Realistic Lighting (software raytraced)
10+ Levels

With this Simulator you start in Tutorial Level 0 as always with nothing but your video camera to record your experience. An endless complex of rooms lit by buzzing amber lights, covered in peeling wallpaper and carpeted floors filled with the stench of wet carpet and mold. You need to find a way out before the inhabitants figure out where you are. You explore the rooms until you are met with an inhabitant. Running down countless yellowed halls you search for an escape until you are caught by a wrinkled black figure and dismembered...

You wake up and look around as the stench hits you again.

This game has been a year long project with a ton of passion poured into it and countless hours in Unreal Engine 4/5, Blender, Substance, etc. Alot of puzzle and jumpscare inspiration from Nikson's FNAF SM and Scott's FNAF Security Breach
