This game will save Argentina

tested here a little bit.

something tells me the enemies are a bit too hard.
they are doing a fuck ton of damage for no reason,every fight im feeling is a boss fight,and its not easy to get healing itens in bashful.

I think alfred having cooldown to his skills is a good idea,but i think its just too much,3 turns to use inverted is just too much when you take 2 turns to get his sp back.

ratman for some reason rarelly makes enemies poison(And deals 0 damage)

found the time to play and finish the mod, here's some thoughts i had (will contain spoilers and a lot of text, be warned)

the mod's balance feels a bit wonky like other people have stated, but to explain what i mean: the early-game fights tend to be more difficult than the late-game battles

an example being joseph/the head of security dying in only a few turns without being able to do much damage to my party. compared to fights such as the gun-fu dojo or even the tackle guy in the mining area, he felt like a pushover

another thought i had was some of the track replacements didn't fit as much as the previous songs used in that scenario, namely the gun-fu dojo's new track not really feeling like it fits too much when you compare it to Embrace the Fist

ninten was actually a pretty cool addition, though i personally would've made his 'move twice in one turn' gimmick tied to an equipment, plus i think he could've greatly benefited from moves that can be used alongside the other party members to create some cool combo attacks, idk. also, his 'gunpowder' status skill felt weird, i feel if you reduced the damage taken by gunpowdered enemies but made the skill have a higher chance to land the status, it would be more balanced in that way

a lot of the new equipment was really cool, it added more variety in how you can play the game, though i noticed some equipment just set your speed to 1, which slowly started feeling like somewhat unoriginal. other than that, the gimmicks felt fun to play around and experiment with

some of the writing could use work, namely the grammar, but i understand that english probably isn't your first language, i'd just like to recommend finding someone who can touch up dialogue when needed

a lot of the new content was genuinely really interesting and plain fun, though the fights felt way too easy by the end from my experience

overall, good expansion mod, i've had a lot of fun with it, going to revisit it eventually for the content i've missed once the balance is adjusted

#fangame #action #rpg #retro #other #survival #adventure The Fate Of a Monster is a giant expansion for Life Sentence, which is also a mod for the well-known Lisa the Bashful. Much of the goal of this is to rework much of Bashful to make it a genuinely difficult experience, changing the stats of certain enemies, giving them new attacks, or even modifying their battles entirely. Added to that, the game makes many more changes, such as replacing several songs, changing the prices of many of the foods and rations in the game, or even changing elements of the story, although to a lesser extent. But in a quick summary of the changes:

-Almost all the fights were improved and their music was changed.

-New encounters against enemies were added, including more than 4 new bosses.

-New equipment was added.

-A new party member was added (and more could be added in the future)

-Changes were made to the dialogues and story.

-A couple of new mini areas were created.

-New skills were added to party members.

Even after its release, the game will continue to be updated to add new content, mostly bug fixes, but also additions that are made to satisfy users who are not convinced with the final result of the project.

I will continue updating The Fate of a Monster, but it will remain as a secondary game. I want to continue dedicating myself to my other projects.

The final version of The Fate of a Monster has officially been released!

New graphical scripts have been added, balance and bug fixes have been made, and a new fight has been added.

Well, I'm going to remove phase 2 of Arturo from the fate of a monster.

The main reason for this is that for some reason it created a bug that made fighting literally impossible. Also, the sprite is very cringe.

I updated The Fate of a Monster again! I noticed there were a lot of bugs, the worst of which was not being able to do Cain's route, but I've fixed those now.

The new version of The Fate of a Monster has been released!
