Super cool!

Amazing!

_--=Welcome to the Turbowarp Perspective Object project!=--_

This is an open source project open to any type of contributions from programmers alike! This project sets out to recreate the Clickteam perspective object effect using vanilla extensions in the engine Turbowarp. This project will not utilize any unsandboxed extensions sorry. Please DM @Morilix07 if you would like to make any contributions. Thank you!

Story:

This project started as a personal challenge of mine that I though I would never be able to realistically do until Pizzalover4783 released a project file showing that he could mostly do it in Turbowarp. I decided to make it my goal to make the perspective object more rounder and resembling more like Clickteam's. With the help of the Turbowarp community I managed to put something together very much like it.

Current state:

Unfortunately this project is still in it's early stages as it's unfinished as I intended to try to add more features that I don't have much knowledge in adding. Hopefully someone will make a contribution adding the features I intended to add.

(So far) Features I like to add but don't have much knowledge in adding:

  • Perspective warping on the Y-axis (Will maybe allow for more 3D/360 degree environments)

Alternative methods:

If you feel like this method of doing perspective object isn't good enough for your needs here's some other ways of doing the effect:

This one was popularized by @Marxfan2008 and uses unsandboxed extensions unfortunately but the results are incredible!

Positives:

Very easy to use!

Negatives:

It can mess with animations and can cause weird clipping issues if you try to create animations and with it being a separate sprite and doing the same effect.

Now that the perspective object has released might as well give some footage of me testing it out on the JR's office that I recorded a while ago.

Page is now up!
