We all are pretty familiar with the story of how a young child unfortunately stumbled down Mt. Ebott, and ventured through the underground. At least that's how we think it went. When the Human decides to reset they are greeted with a new strange presents. The human can't quite put their finger on it, but something is off about this timeline.
