seems like a really fun game so far, cant tell is soul is slow or if im just lagging but either way good attack patterns, may no hit if its not too bad
hey, commenter here. Love the game, absolutely one of my favorite last breath takes so far. Small issue, the minesweeper attack is completely unfair. This could be just because I suck at minesweeper, but the thing is completely random, which makes it harder to get by. If you guys could release a patch that makes it one single puzzle or adds an options to change minesweeper into tetris or something, that'd be great
here's my review after playing the game fully:
first, i believe a lot of the issues with this game could be mitigated if the soul speed were increased, but i respect that maybe it's intentional.
if that is the case then some of the attacks really need a nerf, ESPECIALLY in phase 1

phase 1: 3/10 (worst phase in the fight by far)
i really dislike this phase, there was not a single attack i enjoyed. though i do appreciate the sprites and music, those things saved it from a 2/10 or lower. in general, this phase just consists of bs attacks that were very clearly not made for such a slow soul speed. if the soul speed were increased, this would be miles better. but as it is, the phase 1 attacks are awful.

either the conditions he had were awful or you didn't listen, or a mix of both.
phase 2: 7/10
i really really like this phase. it constantly switches things up on you in a good way, and the references to other games are much appreciated.
however the phase could be impossible to no hit

this attack seems impossible to dodge, the soul speed is too slow to keep up with the bone spin. i'll have to test more.
also the flappy bird attack can be really bad for no reason sometimes with the bone gaps becoming way too precise at times
however the rest of the phase i ADORE and i think if you were to sort these problems out, it could even reach an 8/10
phase 3: 4/10
i have no problems with this phase other than the length, the attacks so far were fine
i respect the fact that you had a month for this and it's hard to sort that out, but honestly...
you could have just left it at phase 2 and finished phase 3 post-gamejam.
it would have been a much better way to end this game off than a half-baked finale.
all in all, my final rating for this game is a 5/10
the bad mitigated the good and the good mitigated the bad
without phase 2 this would have been a 2/10 lol
savior of the waking world and black jumpscare, also really cool fangame the minigames are cool even if they kinda don't make sense but some attacks last WAY too long, mainly the 1st phase attacks and that one healing attack in phase 2, a save right after the final attack of phase 1 would also be great since if you pick the spare option you have to rebeat phase 1 which takes like 20 minutes, i really like the music and the mechanics (tho the horizontal speed of the soul feels way slower than it's vertical speed which kinda feels weird) really awesome game overall
