ABOUT

Undertale: Ribbon Of Integrity is a fanmade prequel to Toby Fox's hit indie game, Undertale.

You follow Vanessa, the fourth human soul (not counting Chara) to fall into the underground. It is there where she must venture her way through and navigate through this confusing part of her world.

Come across some old friends, see some new folk and uncover the truths of the underground at that current point of time...or brute force your way through. It's up to you after all!

An abstract and shifting artstyle reminiscent of Joel G's ENA series!

All the old features from Undertale that you love are still here (e.g. ACTing, FIGHTing, y'know the usual stuff)!

IMPORTANT!!

We are not associated with Toby Fox, Joel G or anyone who's style we decide to copy. This is purely a game made out of passion and love for everything involved.
This will spoil Undertale! It is recommended that you go and play Undertale first then come back here! Also while not important, I also recommend checking out Joel G's ENA webseries and his game ENA: Dream BBQ to understand what style we're trying to mimic.
Due to the nature of the artstyle, Ribbon Of Integrity may be disorienting especially with those who have conditions such as Epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised.
Viewer discretion is also advised when it comes to bring up topics such as transphobia, suicide or other darker themes.
This is the only place to currently get the fangame when it comes out. I may consider other hosting sites such as itch.io or perhaps a dedicated website to download the game from but for the time being, any other download sites are not the official game and could potentially lead to viruses or other forms of malware that could wreck your device.

FAQ

Q: Is this compliant to [Insert well-known take here]?

A: No. We are not compliant to any other Soul Prequel. This is purely our own. While we do take inspirations from them or other pieces of media, we are not connected in any way to them.

Ribbon Of Integrity is a soul prequel with an already pre-established soul timeline alongside other souls with various personalities. None of which are connected to any popular or well-known soul prequels.

Q: Will there be a port to [insert platform here]?

A: Depends. I may consider a port to mobile or Linux but that really depends if I feel okay with doing so. Fanmade ports are allowed but like I said, be careful with what you download.

Q: Controller support?

That's one of my intentions. I do want controller support. Don't know when it'll be. I won't promise features that I can't give.

Q: Why should I follow your project?

Funny you should ask that! There's a few reasons!

Trans representation written by an actual transgender woman!
A character with actual personality!
Differing styles of art, serving as a love letter to the OG titles!
Fun gameplay, reminding you of the classic original game with a few new bells and whistles attached!

Q: Will Flowey make an appearance?

No...sorry Flowey fans but in my eyes, he doesn't appear nor does he fit the game ^^'

Q: This should be this! This should be that! Why aren't you following the lore properly?

A: We are human. We make mistakes. Sometimes lore is hard to keep up with, okay? Besides, I want to break away from completely copying Undertale and instead give context to things that happen.

Let it be known that I do not consider a right or wrong way to play Ribbon Of Integrity. There might be a singular canon ending but how you should play depends on how you want your experience to be!
