After the genocide route, the entirety of monster kind was wiped out.
All except one....... and that was the royal guard ALPHYS.
Why she was spared is a mystery, did the human want her to suffer all alone in the underground? Alphys questions this everyday.
Eventually, Alphys had enough, so with the help of her trusty robot Raphael, together they collected the dust of the monsters.
Finally, she had enough DNA. Enough to revive Monsterkind by making an identical clone of it.
There were many failed attempts but eventually, monster kind has been restored.
Monsters now live happily underground, but alphys knows the truth, alphys knows what cruel beings humans are, what sadistic trash bags they could be.
There was only 1 more SOUL needed left to break the barrier, and alphys is not willing to take any chances.
