I honestly think this will be a great game. I am willing to do some game testing for you if you need it.
Hey, your game sounds awesome! I’d recommend doing the following to turn it into a bigger success on Game Jolt!
1. Post about your game, news and updates in as many communities as it makes sense! Communities like Game Dev or Arts n Crafts will get your posts in front of thousands of users! Find more communities here: https://gamejolt.com/communities.
2. Write a bio on your profile. A complete profile always looks more legitimate in the eyes of the community. This is a great place to add in your website or other social channels.
3. Post and update your followers frequently to stay on their radar!
pretty good game, had fun making some good ale.
I might have also accidentally ruined a wedding by forgetting about the mission
whoops....
If you need testers, here I am. I think it could be an unbelievable game. Can't wait to play it!
Hello. Great project, you did well. If you need a voice actor for this project or any of your next projects, I really want to work with you. I hope that everything will work out

Gameplay
Ale Abbey is a tycoon indie game developed under the premise of being stress-free and with almost no punishing gameplay mechanics. We want the player to enjoy building their Monastery up and evolving its Monks and Nuns. You will need to find and purchase the best materials, craft recipes and brew your ale, care for the local populace, and tend to the "requests" of the Lords and Bandits of the area. All that to make the tastiest of ale and increase the Abbey's renown!
Brewing
Made by a team that appreciates and respects beer and crafting it, Ale Abbey is a pixelated wink to the ones that not only kept the craft alive but also perfected it through harder and darker times.
Accurate ingredients, realistic practices, demanding audiences (!), and a bunch of trusty Monks and Nuns ready to brew!
Game Modes
Ale Abbey will come with a campaign and sandbox mode.
The campaign will span over a period of about 100-120 years, divided into 4 terms that will run under 4 different Abbots and Abbesses. Each term will carry over bonuses to the next, based on the retiring Abbot's/Abbess' background and the player's choices throughout that term.
The Sandbox mode will tend to those who wish to hone their tycoon/managerial skills without having to worry about the timeline or the backstories found in the campaign mode. Everything else will still be there; quests, recipe creation, brewing, slightly inebriated Monks...
After a week of animating Ale Abbey's finest... Nuns!😍Nuns everywhere⛪🍻
This would - of course - never happen in Ale Abbey, but superstition 🥶 is a good way to keep those beer-thirsty Monks out of the 🧊Cold Cellar🧊 and away from your lagering goodies!🍻⛪
Testing how Ale Abbey's cute brewers respond to teleportation when it's time to turn in for the night...🧐
Yeap... fast asleep and in their PJs. So far, so good!🍻⛪
The Superiors' room in Ale Abbey is coming along nicely!🍻⛪ New textures, rare materials, and a "content" Abbot to prove we're most probably doing something right 🤭
What do you think? Is there anything missing?

You thought we wouldn't be making any more characters?🤔
This lineup of hopeful brewers begs to differ. Who knows which of these will eventually make it to Ale Abbey...?🍻⛪
In case you didn't know... there will be more than one biome to experience in Ale Abbey🍻⛪
You already knew about the Bavarian Alps, so what about some Tuscany for a change?🙌
A WIP take of the lavishness that oozes from the Abbot's room in Ale Abbey...🍻⛪ No hidden symbolism there, nope, none whatsoever. The rest of the Monks definitely have similar quarters /s🙄
Thinking about a new beer recipe.... or maybe which of the three markets in Ale Abbey to target next?🍻⛪ Whatever it is, it obviously lifts the Abbot's spirits!🎵
Trying to perfect the minimap that will help you navigate around Ale Abbey's rooms. 🍻⛪ No mini monks lost their way to the brewery making this! 🤭
Trying to make beer recipe crafting in Ale Abbey fun... one 🫧 at a time!🍻⛪
Quite the puzzle in real life, we'll be giving you the tools to have more control over the process in-game. You can thank us later 😉
