I couldn't find an active Twitter account for you, so I couldn't @ you in my tweet, but perhaps you would be interested to read my list of favourites anyway: https://www.shdon.com/blog/2019/06/27/advjam2019-shout-outs
Great game!
The main quality is the art style and how the story unwrap itself through the action. There is something interesting going on with these villagers.
To give you a little feedback, I think there is something with the collisions of the main character that makes the game unnecessarily difficult at some point: When you don't make a jump far enough it's easy to get stuck, and sometimes the space bar is not responding.
Also I got stuck at the part with the red button, as I wasted all my rocks and they didn't reappear! Or maybe I missed something?
Anyway, I'd love to see more, great work!
The overall mood is very nice, the art direction cute and pleasing, and it's really easy to get attached to this little fellow. Right now, it's just the frustrating level design that pulls the game back. A bit of balancing and you should have a great game.
Liking the stylistic art and the wordless storytelling that still manages to come through. Poor little goomba. Did have some trouble with the controls and collision detection, though, and I managed to run out of pebbles to throw (almost missed the text near the pebbles, too, as it was almost invisible) and got myself stuck in between two rocks pretty soon after the villagers banished me, so I had to start over several times. Eventually I had to give up due to my poor platforming skills. I wish I could get past it though, because it's really charming and I'd love to see more.
A lonely creature found love with its pet. But something isn't right. Amicus is a "very" short adventure game with a gametime of only 15 - 30 mins. Unfortunately, sound and music is absent in this game.
