A handy-dandy description of this future virtual dumpster fire

I keep slowly adding to plans for a really cool RPG game. It's all currently in planning, but I really wanted to make a page for it. Info will be changed as it all comes along, so maybe expect some news at some point?

This may take a while as I'm doing everything by myself and besides some old Scratch titles from years ago, I have no idea what I'm doing. When a playable version of this comes out, it will be a proud moment of my life.

While we're here though, here's a few important things of note that I've definitely got nailed down:

-Pixelated art style. This is both due to personal preference and because I physically can't do any other kind.

-The game is akin to the Mario and Luigi series and first two Paper Mario games in terms of gameplay.

-A good bit of focus is going to be put into dialogue. I'm not trying to get a comedian of the year award, but if it's better than what some multi-billion dollar studios are putting out these days (you know EXACTLY who and what I'm referring to) then I've succeeded.

-There are two different adventures depending on which player character you pick at the start of the game, with different characters, different locations, etc. There's also other characters everywhere. It's actually becoming a bit of a problem, to be honest. There's never an available parking spot and some of them live in the public toilets, which I'm sure you can figure out how well that goes.

-There's something beneath the surface

-Easter eggs, references and cameos and all the other cool thingamajigs everywhere! Especially in some areas.

-A bowl of salad (it was my lunch, but I dropped it somewhere without realising. If you find it, could you let me know? I'm still hungry.)

That's pretty much all I've got at the moment, so bye for now.

all-ages

Struggling to get multiple room changes as different entrances to occur, every fix I make is only ever a temporary solution that falls apart when I try to do anything. You'd think I'd have got it by now after literal months, but nope.

The house door now works.

It's funny how I'm so glad about something that I don't think could sound much less interesting.

New plan: GameMaker lets me upload to GX.games for free. So the early build versions can go there. When I've got enough to call it a demo, I'll get a subscription and put it here. Here's the link to the thing: (link is no longer valid)

If anyone ever needs a role model for productivity, DO NOT CHOOSE ME.

But seriously, I think I'll just leave this page alone until I'm finished with at least an early version of the game.

I'll see you, who stumbled upon this message, in about a decade.

Finally, something playable(?)

At this point I could very well abandon this thing entirely, almost no one knows it exists, I'm the only one working on it and it's barely even a walking simulator.

Regardless, here's something so I can say I've made something recently.

The thumbnail and header have been updated. I've also added the character portraits to the media section of the page.

After over a week's worth of procrastination, I finally have something to show and it concerns those redesigns I mentioned. Without further ado, here they are with new character information, listed in the order they were made in.
