Hello everyone! This is an interpretation of Underswap, which is based on the original Underswap by pocornpr1nce, except personalities swap less here. In the original Underswap, characters keep about 20% of their Undertale personality, while here they keep about 40-50% of their UT personality. The majority of the cast will use designs similar to Popcornpr1nce’s original artwork (althrough some details may change).

Right now, we are mainly looking for coders (who have experience in Game Maker) and musicians, though we will accept any help we can get since our team is rather small at the moment.

Q: When is the game/demo going to be released?
A: Uh, this game's development just started. Of course we don't have a release date yet. We might have one when this will be closer to completion. Just wait for now.

Q: Is this game going to be free, or will we have to pay?
A: It's going to be free. This is just a hobby project we make to express our love for Undertale. Toby doesn't allow paid fangames anyway.

Q: Why not make a game about Popcornpr1nce's original Underswap rather than an interpretation similar to that?
A: The problem is that Popcornpr1nce didn't post enough details about characters to make an entire game out of. For example, some characters don't have an official design (Frisk, Chara, Monster Kid, Asriel, Gaster, River Person).
Another problem is that the original Underswap is somewhat a reskin, and reskins are something Toby doesn't allow. For example, it's hinted that the locations are still like in the original Undertale.
We resolve these problems by filling in the missing details with our interpretation of what we want them to be, making the characters keep more of their UT personality and swapping the locations.

Q: What is this "Popcornpr1nce's original Underswap" the previous answer talked about? Isn't Underswap a community AU?
A: Underswap, created by Popcornpr1nce, does have canon. However, after fans started drawing large amounts of Underswap fontcest, mispresenting Underswap by drawing "blueberry" and "carrot" instead of actual Underswap characters and spreading confusion about them being canon, and done other awful things, Popcornpr1nce has decided that he doesn't want to be associated with it anymore. You can read information about the original Underswap by looking at this research document (created by TS member Demirramon) and this wiki (created by emanresu_yzal1, leader of this game's team).

Q: Wait, so is Papyrus gonna be lazy, Sans gonna be excitable, Alphys gonna be confident, Undyne gonna be shy, etc.?
Yes. The characters' usual moods are gonna be the same as in original Underswap and they still have a huge part of their original US personality. However, they're gonna change some of the other parts of their personalities to be more like in Undertale. For example, Sans can still read the protagonist's expression. That would be Papyrus in the original Underswap.

Q: What characters are going to be swapped?
A: Pretty much everyone. Here's a list of the major characters that are going to be swapped:
Frisk - Chara
Flowey - Temmie
Toriel - Asgore
Napstablook - Mettaton
Sans - Papyrus
Undyne - Alphys
Monster Kid - Asriel
Gaster - River Person

Q: Are the locations going to be different?
A: Yes, the locations are going to be swapped. Unlike in Team Switched's game, we are not swapping the seasons, we are actually swapping the locations. For example, Snowdin is going to be very hot and feature a lot of machines.

Q: Is this game going to have black and white or colored battle sprites?
A: Both, there will be an option to switch between them.
