This is a game I am developing as part of my final year in University using the Monogame plugin for XNA Studio. Its what I'm calling a stealth game from the opposite perspective and is in fact 2 games in one.

The first game puts you in the role of the Head of the Night Watch in an office building. It is your task to protect the building from intruders by planning out patrol routes and managing the needs of your staff. This game is built to be a management/puzzle game.

The second game puts you in the role of a lone Nightwatchman in an office building. It is your task to protect the building from intruders and avoid being knocked out by an intruder. This game is built as an action game with some feeling of tension and horror(but not much).

The point of this project was to contrast two ways of making a stealth game from the opposite perspective and seeing which was more enjoyable for the player.

These games are early prototypes and as I will be busy with university, it is unlikely that I will be updating this game in the near future, but I have every intention of coming back to this game and further developing the concepts.

Also please note that this has only been tested on my Windows 8 laptop and I can offer no guarantee's that it will work on other systems, for which I apologist. There is also a known bug where if the window is larger than your screen then the mouse and cursor de-sync and the game becomes unplayable, I'm sorry but I've yet to find a solution to that bug.

			       To Install this game:
       -Download the zip file
       -Run setup.exe

      To Uninstall this game:
      - open control panel and select uninstall a program
      - find counter-stealth on the list and select uninstall program
(Apologies for the Lack of an uninstaller, Monogame does no support such things)
