Rise of the King

While we've had spinoffs (like The Baby in Yellow) and direct ties to parts of the Cthulhu Mythos (like the Soulsborne games), I've never seen a full rendition of the original Yellow Mythos weaved by Robert W. Chambers (I feel Ambrose Bierce only really laid down vague blueprints for Chambers' book, so while I respect his work, I don't refer to it as the tried and true original story). This game, inspired by the art styles of games like Castlevania and Metroid, is my small attempt at filling this gap in the world of video games. #platformer #fangame #retro #adventure #action
