The focus of the game is going to be the story elements and gameplay mechanics from RPG Maker VX Ace that suit the Dragon Ball Z universe. I want to make it as true to the series as possible as I grew up watching Dragon Ball Z.
Once the game is completed I will have replaced character face artworks, battlers, cutscenes and battle animations to be all my own original artworks. See the above artworks posted and the in-game Kamehameha animation and gifs for reference.
This game is being postponed until further notice due to a change in my situation. This is a solo project for all of the art, animations, story and scripting. I will go back to the drawing board and try to revive this project.
I'm going to let some people join the discord I've been using to post updates, message me for a link. It looks like I'll have a demo to release in the next week or so with a few maps and enemies so people can get a feel for what the game will be like.
