It's pretty nice (I love the battle music)
The purple soul mode feels a bit odd but that's to be expected with fangames
It feels a little fast paced as well, and ive heard the battle is very long
I think just a walk through town would help with pacing, and, as others have suggested, add the spare meter
Also Seam uses they/them, not he/him

The segment walking through the castle is fun, as well as now being in the fountain room so i have *shiny pillar*
There appear to be some minor textbox glitches in that turn where the purple soul gets brought in (susie specifically)
And that one attack where ralsei throws two fireballs in one spot repeatedly is... a bit overpowered (i might just have a skill issue, but it did kill me on near-full health)
The attacks are pretty creative, but some feel REALLY hard to dodge.
IMO the game has pretty werid balance. The final attack that supposed to be hardest... is easier than some of first attacks(when your soul is purple). BUT it's still a pretty good fangame(especially for a first project), also...

A DELTARUNE fangame.
DELTARUNE Dreamwake is a DELTARUNE fangame taking place after the Chapter 4 Weird Route (though don't worry, there's technically no spoilers. The plot only takes place here so that the story makes sense). Susie sneaks into Kris's house in the middle of the night to say that something's... off. You both sneak off to Castle Town, which is... empty. And neither of you know why.

After a long and aching 4 and a half months (wait really????), it's finally done! This game has been the main focus of my attention ever since I first played through Chapter 2! I've had to change the story MANY times to find something that worked with the canon story of Chapters 3-4, and my friend suggested the current story, though I've made some slight tweaks to some details. Most of the code was written by me, though I followed a few tutorials for the basic logic of the game.
Believe it or not, this is my FIRST EVER project in GameMaker! I was originally going to make this in Godot, but I figured that if DELTARUNE was made in GameMaker, I might as well try that instead, and I'm really happy I made that choice! Over the last three months, I've learned a lot about how certain DELTARUNE mechanics internally work, by looking through the code in UNDERTALE Mod Tool. I really want to continue improving on this, because I'm not super happy about the fact that not everything is animated, and how the battle works more like an encounter than, y'know, a boss battle, but I'm super proud of how this game turned out!
This game is far from perfect, so if you encounter any bugs while playing, please copy the error message and send it to the following email address, along with an explanation of what you did to encounter the error. Please make your explanation as detailed as possible, as any detail can make it easier to pinpoint exactly what went wrong, where, and why.
