Devil's Punishment

Devil's Punishment is an upcoming sci-fi/post-apocalyptic survival horror 3D game with FPS (First person shooter) mechanics, original setting and story based in a book scene, where a group of prisoners are left behind in an abandoned underground facility.

The background story

"Before the asteroid impact in the year 2036, hundreds of underground cities were built around the globe to save mankind from eradication. Millions of people were preserved inside cryogenic chambers in these subterranean metropolises, awaiting the time in which Earth could be hospitable again.

The collision of the asteroid with the planet annihilated everything that was on Earth's surface. For one thousand years silence reigned until mankind awakened from their deep sleep, only to find that the rest of the underground cities had perished, leaving only one left, a city known as 'Last Hope'.

Within the great minds of Last Hope, some rose in search of leading the last city of the planet, with hopes and promises of a better future for humanity. But new leaderships brought new alliances, and with alliances, lust for power, greed, and violence arrived. Quickly only one political party prevailed, instating a new strong order and imprisoning any oppositors or lawbreakers. No matter how minor the crime, they would all be worth a life sentence, which could only be reduced by providing services to the new regime."

The horror starts

You assume the role of one of Last Hope's prisoners, sent to repair an underground communications building, only accessible through the barren and dead surface. In these unexplored underground depths, you will find out that you are not alone in this new Earth.

Game Features

• The map randomly generates every time the game/match restarts.

• Items and weapons are randomly scattered in the map every time the game/match restarts.

• An inventory for storing your items and weapons.

• The maze-like underground facility is in total darkness so prisoners must use their Light Source Device (LSD) to advance.

• Play solo or cooperate with up to 10 players.

• All prisoners begin the game cuffed and consequently cannot use guns or flashlights. You will need to find a device to uncuff yourself.

• Unpredictable creatures, varying in size and behaviour, stalk and can easily kill the prisoners at any time during the match.

• Prisoners can deal with the creatures by either killing them with weapons or hiding from them.

• Prisoners can become infected if a creature hits them. If they become infected, they have a limited amount of time before turning into a creature and dying. They cannot play as a creature.

• When a player dies, the game becomes more difficult.

• Upon activating the generator, the game becomes more difficult.

• Text and voice chat.

• The game/match ends when all the players are dead.
