So here's my idea: a lewd action platformer that's actually fun and rewarding to play.
What do I mean by this? Well, there are a decent amount of lewd games out there, however, many decide to be either straight up porn, or when they do have gameplay it's not very good or logical. There are even games that make the sex scenes a reward for dying! Then there are games that flat out run like crap and if it weren't for the sex scenes you'd never even consider playing it. Very few developers actually even try when making these games, with a few exceptions, such as Huniepop. Sure, it's not that original, but the game feels solid and it can genuinely challenge you.
What I'm trying to create is a fun little platformer that will be considered complete when I reach these milestones:
50 levels
5 bosses
Full animations for Lyre (the protagonist), each boss, and the enemies you encounter in the levels
A soundtrack with at least 12 songs, 1 for the title and stage select, 2 per world, one for credits. Not sure how long the music will take to make.
The movement system must feel very smooth and generally feel good.
I plan on making a free public build when the game becomes relatively playable, then start making patron builds that anyone donating to my Patreon will get. The public builds will be 2 weeks behind and will continue until there are 25 levels. Patron builds will continue until there are 35 levels, and the game will release with 50 ideally, though I may consider Steam Early Access. Anyone donating $8 or more will get the Steam Code, and the price on Steam will probably be $10. As for the lewder content on Steam, I'll just do what Huniepop and Sakura do and just make a mod you guys can download if you'd like. Anyhow, mostly just throwing my ideas out there, hope you all have a good evening!
