This is a simple platformer where you play as a fish who is trying to return to the ocean after being fished by a fishing boat.
In most platformers, you can run and jump. However, since you are a fish in this game, you can't move on land so you can only jump (and move while in the air).
Characters:
Floppy Fish: A fish who is on a boat but doesn't want to be on a boat.
Mr. Lobster: A lobster who gives you a free sword at some point.
Mr. Lobster's soul: Mr. Lobster keeps his soul in a jar for some reason.
Robo Birb: This omnipotent 8th dimensional being will give you the tutorial and contributes nothing more to the story.
Security Roombas: Roombas designed to stop fish from escaping. I'm pretty sure putting a bunch of roombas on a boat is a horrible idea. I honestly have no idea why I decided that the enemies should be roombas.
Human Person: The final boss of the game! A random person who works on the fishing boat and who will try to stop you from leaving.
I would like to give an update to the 0 people who care about this game's development. The game is not cancelled, however, I have made no progress since last post and won't make any progress for a while. I will finish this one day, just not any time soon.
Development has recently been really slow because I've been working on other projects and now it will be even slower because my summer break is ending. However, despite all this, I will continue trying to make the final demo, and evenually the final game.
After a few more bug fixes, I now have a demo release out. Once again I will specify that it is just the tutorial and that I will add more to the demo, but I wanted to release something.
After some testing and some pizza, I found and fixed a bunch of bugs. I am now testing the fixed version. Should be released at some point today.
I have finished the tutorial and will release it after testing.
This is not the finished demo, I just really want to release something since I have heard rumors that march is almost over.
