Football Story features a dynamic and intriguing single-player campaign that thrusts you into the life of one of four playable characters. Every story is unique, giving you the chance to experience something new each time.

You’ll find yourself helping Lilu to earn enough money to buy a new washing machine for her family, so her father can go to work with clean clothes. Compete in sketchy junkyard football matches as Rad to defend his brother and prove to his classmates that he’s the best around. Discover what challenges lie ahead for our other distinctive characters.

Football Story has been built from the ground up to support competitive online matches with up to 8 players and boasts gameplay that’ll hook you from the very first round. Show off your character’s style and challenge your friends in real-time!

Every player controls their own character on the field, making a mix of teamplay and individual skill essential for victory. Gain experience, improve your stats and increase your rank over time to grow your reputation. Team up with friends and join global matches to become league champions. Create in-game friend lists, form private or public Football Clubs and bring glorious trophies back home!

Customize your character from head to toe with a range of vibrant outfits. Unlock cool items by earning cash through multiplayer matches or quests. If you’re going to become a legendary football player, you’ll need to look the part! As you unlock new areas of Highshore City, new stores will become available with even more extravagant outfits.

Scientists say there’s a link between looking good and playing well on the field, so you might as well build your legendary career in the most stylish way possible. While you’re at it, visit the barbershops around the city to get a haircut that’ll really turn some heads.

You’re not just here for fun and games, this is your chance to prove that you’re the best of the best! Train regularly to keep your character in tip-top shape. They’ll become sluggish if you don’t push their limits. Improving your skills allows you to take on tougher opponents to boost your reputation. Some skills will give you a temporary advantage on the field, so it’s essential to train your character regularly and invest in their well-being.

For example, Strength will allow your character to send the ball flying at great speed, but their accuracy will be reduced a tad. The Leadership skill enables your character to use gestures more often and passively improves their overall stats. As you can see, the Skill System is quite complex, ensuring all players on the field have their individual strengths and weaknesses. Picking and mastering your gameplay style is crucial to better fulfilling your role in a team.

Skills can be improved on a special training field by practicing your ball handling, playing minigames, taking challenges from NPCs wandering around and completing daily or weekly tasks. As mentioned, certain skill improvements will be awarded temporarily for completing special tasks. When it comes to experience, you will be able to decide exactly which skills you want to improve. You can go all-in on one or experiment to find your preferred mix. Have fun finding the playstyle that works best for you!

You can even improve your skills while moving around the city! Take your ball with you and kick it around as you go. Be careful, though! Some grumpy citizens might get upset or distracted by you, resulting in them filing a complaint with the police. If enough complaints are filed, you will get a ticket from the local law enforcement for disturbing the peace.

We have developed a unique gesture system that allows players to communicate on the field with ease. You can unlock and assign animated gestures to certain hotkeys and use them during matches. Gestures will play a strategic role in the game, so it’s important to assign the right ones for the gameplay styles you and your friends enjoy.

Explore the sprawling streets of Highshore City. Help those in need along the way, like saving Granny Masha’s cat from a tree or helping to fix hall lights in your residence to prevent injuries in the dark. Discover new locations and make new friends everywhere you go!

The city has eight diverse neighborhoods, each with its own visual style and class of people who live there. Some neighborhoods are wealthier than others, which will show in their aesthetic. Every neighborhood will offer a unique experience for players, with new quests and characters awaiting you at every turn.

There’s also a wide range of boutiques (with exclusive clothing brands), barbershops (with new hairstyles and dyes) and grocery stores (with varying prices and brands) within these areas. You can even buy energy drinks to boost your character’s stats on the field, but the price will steadily go up!

Certain random events can completely alter the way you play the game. It wouldn’t be much fun if we didn’t mix it up now and then! For starters, Football Story will have dynamic weather and a time-of-day system. Based on the conditions affecting a match, you will need to evolve your playstyle to match the events unfolding in the game. It might be that your neighbor’s dog, who has a love for chasing balls, got off its leash and decided to play with the ball right in the middle of a match. It could also be old Uncle Max parking his car on the field to carry groceries to his house, slippery puddles from the rain, and more.
