just played through the demo and i have to say that it's awesome! a fun little rpg with a minimalistic, but very stylish and cute sprite-work, memorable characters with great designs and a great soundtrack with cool tunes to accompany the gameplay!)
the game is also brimming with cool details, like the overshadowing in the mayor's dictionary, shopstrich's reaction to you going without talking to him and the secret hideout of the stardrop moles in the hole labyrinth - all of those details make the game all the more worthwhile!) also, the main characters are really cool - Raven looks very cute, love the gal, and Nickel is pretty adorable in his attempts to recruit us into being his henchmen - love the guy!) the battle system is also pretty good - it's simple, but very effective and has great animations along with some awesome-looking portraits for both the enemies and the main duo!) also, on a final note about the details - the full-screen illustrations for the title menu, the chapter beginnings and the incredibly unnerving game over image look amazing!) great job, OmegaSteve! or should i say Sbeve? jajaja, just joking)
all in all, the demo left me with a very good first impression - it's very much worth playing through for all of the great locations, puzzles, battles and secrets you get in it, and it plays very well, too - i haven't found a single bug, typo or a problem with it!) OmegaSteve, i wish you best of luck, nerves of steel and lots of inspiration in further development and future endeavors!) take care!
Hey, your game looks awesome! I’d recommend doing the following to turn it into a bigger success on Game Jolt. :)
1. Post about your game, news and updates in as many communities as it makes sense! Communities like Game Dev or Arts n Crafts will get your posts in front of thousands of users! Find more communities here: https://gamejolt.com/communities.
2. Write a bio on your profile! A complete profile always looks more legitimate in the eyes of the community. This is a great place to add in your website or other social channels.
3. Post and update your followers frequently to stay on their radar!
I just beat it and it's very enjoyable! so far a very relaxed experience that definitely has some mystery on it's way, and i cant express how much i love the characters and semi-chaotic humor ^^
Look cool, might give it a shot
I played this one on my Youtube Channel, I really enjoyed it! The art style is very charming and the game has a very fun sense of humor :)
