What do you think?

I enjoyed it for awhile. The NPC's could use some improvement, such as characters instead of Clyinders. Also, giving them voice would be great. I really like the "Dreaming". One suggestion, have you heard of INNO. It is an installer for Unity. Makes it nice to install and it is free. If you have any questions about INNO, let me now.

Very, very cool game. It's a very fun, and impressive, dungeon crawler. The way it generates maps randomly is super cool, and changes up the gameplay quite a lot! The graphics should have an overhaul soon. Things like the bed look a bit off, and could use some mesh-modeling instead of using 3D objects. The lighting, should also be re-done a bit, such as darkening the game and adding torches that you can hold as you walk around. The soundtrack sounds very ominous, and suits the game very well! Some sounds (like the slimes) could use some reworking, but besides that, the game is super fun and non-repetitive!

Difficulty settings?

the game is really great, i love how you can interact with almost anything, like the lamps and the people, and you can even break walls and move anything around like chests and the parts of the level that you destroyed :D, and there are alot of things to collect and enemies to fight and you can upgrade your stats

cant wait for the full game to come out!

Sleep. Dream. Fight. Wake up. Repeat.

Every nightmare is procedurally generated. With each playthrough, explore a new Labyrinth, filled with items, weapons, and enemies.

Gameplay

A round of Oneiro takes place within a single Labyrinth; and within the Labyrinth, there's several Layers. Each Layer is procedurally generated and completely destructible.

Throughout the Layers, you'll find Weapon Chambers, which may contain a new weapon for you to use. These weapons can be the following: A Sword, Sledgehammer, Karambit, or a Spear. Each of these types have their own benefits and drawbacks, so it's up to the player to decide which weapon suits their playstyle the best.

To aid you in your progression, you'll come across new equipment in the Labyrinth. This equipment are split into Items and Gear...

  • Items are found through Treasure Chests. Items are passive/stackable equipment; so they will always have an effect on your playstyle and will increase in effectiveness in case you find an item you already have.

  • Gear is found from breaking the vases/pots around the labyrinth. Gear is consumable and limited, but often has extremely powerful effects such as duplicating items, or imbuing the player with an element.

Oneiro aims to reward knowledge, creativity, and skill equally; the more you play, the more patterns you'll realize and the more you'll benefit, ergo the further you'll advance in the Labyrinth.

Your creativity will be allowed to shine multiple times due to the wide array of options you'll have any given moment. Perhaps instead of facing an enemy, you'll use Throwing Knives to destroy a nearby wall, and cause the Labyrinth's ceiling to collapse on the enemy. Or maybe you'll use your Sledgehammer to hit a nearby torch off the wall and fling it towards the enemy in an attempt to ignite them from a safe distance.
