The game is neat. The camera aesthetic and the alternate diner cameras are cool to see and the game executes the observation duty gameplay decently. I will say, the office is a little rough around the edges, particularly when it comes to how the doors and the fisheye effect look.
When it comes to gameplay, the characters definitely should be given more leniency in terms of long it takes before they jumpscare you, that way the doors are more viable to use instead of the alarm. I also think that anomalies should reset after not being detected for a while, and your progress shouldn't be completely reset for getting an anomaly wrong, but it should remove 1 or 2 progress. I also saw that my game was completely reset to night 1 after dying a total of 3 times. I'm not sure if that's intentional, but that definitely should not be the case. I lost my progress on night 3, and that just completely drained my motivation to continue the game.
Any Updates?
Can you add a "continue" button? It is getting quite exhausting, having to go through the introduction cutscene over and over again.
Paranormal at Freddie's
-----READ DESCRIPTION-----
"Paranormal at Freddie's" is an indie horror game inspired by Five Nights at Freddy’s and On My Observation Duty. Built in less than a month, this game blends eerie atmosphere with tense anomaly‑spotting gameplay.
You are the night guard at Freddie’s Diner. Once a busy family spot, the diner shut down years ago due to safety issues and fading relevance. Now, you watch over its empty halls. Your job is simple: keep an eye on the cameras, report anything strange, and make it through the night.
Gameplay:
Scan the rooms for any anomalies.
Hold your ground against animatronics.
This is my first ever game made on GDevelop with no experience! So don't expect it to be a perfect game, I just want to experiment on the FNAF Formula with something new. Hope you enjoy the game!
