kinda have 1 problem with this and is that even if you download a binary for 0.6 so that you can play the mod, the binary copies the saved data from the version of supertux you always use

How To Install
Just download and use the run_peppertux_portable.bat file to run the game in a portable way. I don't know what SuperTux does there (I can't read batch files) but you avoid save file issues with this method, although you should be able to not run into those issues anymore because of the save directory being changed.
If you found any issues, report the issues to the GitHub Issues page for this repository, or the comments of the GameJolt page of PepperTux, which is this page, actually.
Story
The same story as SuperTux, basically, Tux goes to a picnic with Penny, but Nolok attacks and captures Penny, leaving just a note telling Tux that he doesn't stand a chance at getting Penny back, so Tux starts moving towards Nolok's Icy Island castle, hoping that Nolok and Penny would be there.
The Purpose Of This
PepperTux is meant to be like SuperTux 0.6.3 with some 0.7.0 things. It's a mod for SuperTux 0.7.0
There's really no purpose, just here for fun.
This isn't meant to be "finished SuperTux before SuperTux Team does it", although it is kind of that (tropical paradise will be replaced with "heated desert" and mountain peak will be replaced with an industrial world that won't be like industrial island because i dont just want to copy industrial island, but i still think an industrial world fits the theme of a final world.
Also, the worldmaps are different now.
The levels are also replaced with new ones.
