Found this game via a playthrough I found on YouTube. From what I've seen, it looks cool. Will definitely be trying out.

Okay, only beaten fairytale forest as of writing but I've noticed a couple of things that could use touching up. I'm just going to suggest a few QoL things

  • Functioning Flee
    It's not fun going into someplace blind and getting insta pwned cuz your deck is not built for a boss. Just let you run on the first turn after you see what you're facing. Make it free because reloading your save essentially does the same thing.

  • More Detailed Combat Descriptions
    Not being able too see exact zombie health is a minor annoyance. Not knowing their damage output is one too. I'd be nice if you could somehow implement a way to see that in battle. My idea is copy what kupo did for EBF and have a thing at the side to view their exact stats. Hell, you could use that to display evasion chance (like with the jester) or reduce clutter with showing zombie resistances. Might not be possible because of the game engine but it would ne nice. (EBF5 images below for reference)

  • Clearer Plant Descriptions
    Show starting cooldowns, cooldowns after use, exact status chance, and how long those statuses last on a plant before you use it. Might be able to turn this into an almanac thing.

  • Music Room
    Just a place for you to chill with all the tracks you've heard so far and who made it. Slap it in seeds of time or something.

    That's all just what stuck out to me, there are some things I dont exactly agree with like bosses being immune to DOT effects (I play EBF so I am clearly biased by that) but so far game is fun, going to try a plant epic quest at a later date.

- Download the new version

- Copy the "Save" folder in "Aleph_Files" on the old version

- Paste it into the new version's "Aleph_Files"

Patch 1.0.2 has been released, fixing an issue with Weed Whack and adding some additional dialogue.

If you play on browser and are getting some lag, please try downloading the game instead! This has no workaround for mobile yet, sadly...
