What do you think?

Im truly amazed with this new game. Great work man. It would be grate to add a designer tool too.

What dou you think about this ideas?

  • World under the sea.

  • Desert world.

  • Urban-like world.

i hope that this game solves all the original rayman 1 problems. I like your proyect :)

Holy crap, the gameplay looks smooth as butter!
Glad to see SOMEONE finally giving R1 a makeover, as well as quality of life improvements it desperately needs

I have a question Ryemanni. I read on Twitter that you want Rayman to start out with all powers. While it's not that big of a deal for me, I still think that forcing Rayman to unlock powers was a pretty good decision from the gameplay perspective. It made the early levels that otherwise would have been a cakewalk somewhat challenging. It also added a feeling of progression, which is a nice touch in my opinion. That's why I ask: do you see any chance of adding an alternative mode/option with this feature brought back? Perhaps in a future update after you release the game?

On another note, if the other things to unlock that you mentioned on Twitter are not only costumes, but also stuff that makes Rayman stronger, then I guess I would be just as happy with that substitute The game looks like it will be amazing either way!

hmm sounds like a mix of red dead redemtion 2 and rayman

Rayman Redemption is a reimagination of the original Rayman game from 1995. It features a lot of new content, including new worlds, levels, minigames and other stuff to collect and complete.

The "testing phase" of Rayman Redemption has officially begun. This means that I and some other people will be playing through the game and tracking down all the bugs and glitches we can find. After that comes fixing the findings, and then release!

Rayman Redemption coverart is DONE! Huge thank you to Peppermint Bubble for making it!

I've previously claimed that Redemption couldn't support Dualshock controllers, but it turns out I was wrong. Now the button icons also change to show which type of controller you're using.

I have decided to stop making the PC version of Rayman Redemption and instead port it to C64. Here's a picture of the first level so far.
