What do you think?

it would be awesome if there was a system to defeating the spirits. Maybe if you gather enough clues and figure out the causes of their death or why they died, they would feel at peace and disappear. Maybe they would even help you solve traps and puzzles on their floor after you put them to rest?

Okay, here's my honest opinion:

Firstly, the opening monologue NEEDS to be considerably shorter. I got bored within a few minutes and skipped it. If you want it to be that long, then add some kind of animation. Perhaps flashbacks or the man talking.

Secondly, please optimize it better. I should have no problem running this and i was getting some lag spikes and even crashed once. I have an r9 270x and an i5 4590 with 8gb of ddr3 1600mhz ram.

Thirdly, I despise the use of the loud music and crappy jumpscares. There was no buildup to them due to the loud music, and even then, they weren't that well thought out. The map design prevented this. They were too close together. Try to space them out.

Other than that, I got the impression that the protagonist was actually suffering from schizophrenia, which could be a great horror subject if done correctly.

Could you make some better graphics settings? I have a ragefull lag even on poor queality at the lowest res

i get to the stairs and it restarts the game I did that 6 times now what do I do??

Hello everyone, my name is Aaron and I'm the PR for Inactive Pixel Studios. Inactive Pixel Studios, Or IPS for short, is an indie games development company based in Adelaide Australia. We're focusing on our first indie title, ReLive, that's set to make your skin crawl with each new and exciting level. It’s a First person Survival Horror game that is set to not only blow your mind but scare the skin right off of you. The game is still in early developments but is shaping up to be a fantastic game full of fear and heart racing, adrenaline filled scenes. As for the puzzles, which often make or break horror games, IPS will attempt to find the happy balance with difficulty. Not an easy task, but they aim for relatively simple puzzles that aren't hard to miss, but will make reading notes rewarding. For instance, a code to access a door could be somebody’s birthday, or reading about a favourite toy could be relevant upon finding the actual object. But the puzzles aren't the only focus of ReLive.

The Plot: The gameplay revolves around floors that compose the main levels of the game. Each floor will feature a different spirit, haunting troubled beings that usually aren't too friendly. The ghosts have unique stories, however, and they aren't mere enemies on the path to some goal. Scattered diaries and books will shed light on their past existence, revealing tragedies that haunt them in turn; the loss of a loved one, a murder, a betrayal, and even their own death perhaps humanizes the spirits. What’s more, practical puzzle hints may lie hidden between the lines.

We are currently trying to kickstart our game to further cement our foothold so we can get the game out to our backers and fans as soon as possible. We also have a greenlight page up on steam, ready for everyone to thumbs up and show the people at Valve that we want this game to come to light.
