This game is amazing, I loved the story, the theme this game covers is presented in such a great way that really made me feel uneasy(but in the best way possible), it's awesome. I understand if the project itself dose not get updates from this point on, The narrative really sells in the game alone, however the gameplay is so close to being just perfect I wanted to point out somethings that might help a bit, if you ever think about tweaking the gameplay!
-The character rotation seems to be a bit off in that the blue nurse animatronic seems to always be a threat more than the other one. I have had hours, where I feel like I've gotten to lucky and just had to deal with one animatronic the whole hour. Even in max mode of the game I still just got attacked by one.
SPOILERS PROBLY IDK
(also I have no game dev experience, so let me be clear, these are just silly recommendations)
-The dad's breathing on the location(cams or Curtin) your at really helped nailed the story and expressed it wonderfully, I just wish it would be used a bit more to make the player really think more about just running back and fourth. Again on the max mode, although not part of the roster I would not mind if the chances of it occurred happened a bit more or just add the AI of how frequent it could occur.
To follow that maybe some way to stall the animatronics more with the cams, by just staring at them or something could make up for the stalled time on the location of the cams lowering the anxiety.
Maybe make it so you have to look at the animatronics and looking at them help stall, but also raises the anxiety.
sorry for all that, but even if you don't insert any gameplay changes at all, this game is amongst my top 5 horror games!
Just played the game and it's amazing! I think I just found an actual hidden gem

REM State - 1.0
REM State is a fangame inspired by the Five Nights at Freddy’s universe, born from the intention of exploring less obvious paths within horror.
This is not a game about abandoned restaurants or traditional animatronics. The proposal is to explore fear in a subjective and psychological way, focusing more on sensation than explanation, and on what is suggested rather than explicitly shown.
In terms of experience, REM State is built around observation, repetition, and subtle variations. The gameplay favors attention and sensitivity to details over constant action, using visual and sound elements to create a gradual sense of discomfort. Its aesthetic draws from surreal, weirdcore, and traumacore influences, using imagery, spaces, and rhythms that feel detached from reality, reinforcing the feeling of being trapped in an unstable mental state.
This is a work-in-progress project, experimental by nature, created with narrative focus and artistic care. It does not aim to reinvent the genre or present itself as a horror masterpiece, but rather as an introspective experience that respects the player and trusts their perception.
