Sweet Dreams is my attempt at combining old and new. Everyone was disappointed with Hello Neighbor's final product and decision to switch art styles, but I feel the newer cartoony style can be done right, but doesn't fit in the way they used it. A great example of this, and inspiration for this game is the design and atmosphere of alpha 2 and 3. They feature some new style assets, but some old ones as well. They use the old style lighting which for alpha 3 in particular has a strange liminal feel in my opinion. I don't want to spoil much, but pay attention to the neighbor's house as you attempt to break into the basement and inevitably get caught.
