The final choice doesn't make any sense.
At first, I chose to go back to life. But not for the reasons that Chance says. Not because I think that Rose will come to visit me (Of course she is dying to visit a psycho!), that she loves me (I tried to kill her beloved. Of course she is in love for me!), and that I did evrything for her happiness (cough cough).
No, I made this choice because I thought that now that I am aware that I did bad things, I could spend the rest of my life to repent and do good deeds instead. Moreover, in the beginning, Belphegor warned me that the Seven were going to try to trap me and get me confused in order to prevent me to leave. So I thought that it could be that I actually was a good guy and the Seven gave me fake memories in order to make me think that I am a bad guy and that I better not go back to life. So I was expecting that if I chose to go back to life, I would actually find out that I am not in a mental hospital, that I actually am a nice person and that the memories that the Seven gave to me were lies. Traps. But the end that I understand even less is the one when you choose to go with Lucifer. He just gives you peace. That's all. I thought that the Seven were going to try to trap me and get me confused in order to prevent me to leave. That is what Belphegor said in the beginning. But they just gave me puzzles to solve. I enjoyed solving them but they have nothing to do with the seven deadly sins. It would make more sense if Belphegor, that I think is the sin of laziness, showed you the exit door and gave you the choice to either stay here and confront all of the Seven in order to get my memories back, or either to just leave now and fuck my memories. And if I make the lazy choice, if I choose to go through the exit door, I actually fall in a trap and stay here forever. It would make more sense if Mammon, who is the Seven of avarice, would offer you to get some money from Paypal and if you answer yes, you get trapped with him forever. It would make more sense if Asmodeus, who is the Seven of lust, would try to have sex with you. And if you succumb to the temptation, you fall in a trap and stay here forever. It would make more sense if Belzeebub, who is the Seven of... Well, what is he the Seven of actually? I don't know. I just know that Aamon is the Seven of wrath. So it would make more sense if she offered you to take your revenge on the guy who flirts with your fiancée. If you take your revenge, you get trapped forever in the wrath room. It would make more sense if one of the Seven was the sin of gluttony, another was the sin of envy and the last one was the sin of pride. So I thought about how to come with them in your story. The story of Chance. I have an idea but it requires to put 2 Seven in the same room. Envy and gluttony. I need to specify that gluttony can be assimiled to selfishness. So here is my idea: You put the Seven of envy and the one of gluttony in the same room for Chance. There they show to Chance that Paul, the one who flirts with Rose, is dead as well and is trapped as well. At this point, the 2 Seven make an offer to Chance. They could keep Paul trapped forever in order to punish him for having flirted with Chance's fiancée so he will not be able to approach Rose anymore and she will be all for Chance. Or they could let him go. It's up to Chance to choose. If Chance chooses to be selfish and let Paul trapped forever in order to keep Rose for him alone, he falls in a trap and stay here forever. If he chooses to free Paul, he may continue his way to the last Seven. There the last Seven congratulates the reader for having successfully reached the end and asks if the reader wants a trophy in order to show to everyone on GameJolt that he/she beat the game. If the reader answers yes, he/she falls in the ultimate trap and fails to reach the true end. Because the trophy was the trap of the last Seven, the one of pride. What do you think about my idea? If you like it, you may apply it and make a new version of Seven. ;-)

Really good game. The writing is amazing and the overall story is pretty fun to watch unfolding. Way better than a lot of the games we see around here, lately. Also did a let's play of this.

So I played this game yesterday not knowing what to expect And after playing it I must say I really like the game. It got me involved and I liked the characters. Most of them at least. The ending was a bit too ambiguous but over all I enjoyed the game. Also being a YouTuber I did a walkthrough of it. First episode is linked below and it would be great if you could go and comment what game you are most excited for this gaming season! Rest of the game will be going up throughout the week! :)

SEVEN is a psychological thriller where you awaken as a man that has lost all memories of himself and the life he once knew. There is only one way to regain these memories and it requires coming face to face with the seven deadly sins. This game was released under the Ravens Tale Studio name, but has since been changed to Sun Blossom Studios. This game was made in 30 days to be released for the RPG Maker Indie Game Contest in 2014.
A unique story featuring fully-voiced characters in a dark world, this game will take approximately 1-1.5 hours to play and finish. There's a few puzzles/riddles within the game, I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys visual novels.
