the wrong copy of Undertale

I'm a bit lost here, but I think the basic premise was Chara died early and someone hid their body. Am I close? Also, why is Toriel bloody and her house inverted? That felt like a random plot point.

game so good i made a gamejolt account lol. i really really loved this, i had a really good time playing with it. the battles were challenging without being frustrating and it was overall super creepy. the whole ending was *really* good, and the overall story that reveals itself is chilling. the drawn portion when you interact with the thing inside the lab really caught me off guard. everything feels less to me like a literal "here is what would occur if this series of events happened" and more dreamlike. (or nightmarish.) there's so many details i love that i dont want to name because spoilers, but trust me i was absorbing every second of this. even though its short and theres typos throughout the horror worked well enough that it didnt bother me so much. i was hoping id be able to replay it and see what a genocide route would be like, so id love to play it again if it was ever updated, but no worries if not
