Hi there, I just played through the very short demo. i liked it so far but there's some kinks to iron out. I think that the smg64 crazy guy is pointless. He's no threat since you can simply hold the confirm button to defeat him. It would be more exciting if we actually got chased him at points like in Baldi's, which I believe was one of the inspirations. Instead he just randomly appears and we fight him. One small nitpick, at the beginning of the game you should mention that the player can interact with objects using the Z and Space key. Not to mention the menu can be found using the X key too! Finally, what you say about finding tilesets isn't true - there are free tilesets out there. In fact, I found some free school tilesets just now: Cool School tileset | OpenGameArt.org

And even if you are limited to the default tileset, there are things in there like walls, desks, lockers, chairs, basic things. I would like to see this game get more updates. Well good luck and take care!

In SMG4's Basics: An RPG Story, instead of a standard RPG game, I have decided to add special game over endings in addition to the standard endings for the fun and memes (because SMG4 really loves memes). This idea was inspired by SMG4's "Mario Simulator Interactive" YouTube game.
