Game Soundtrack
SPYREFALL is a game about assisting a storyteller in repairing a world that's gone wrong in your absence. As well as this, it is about self-awareness, learning that you cannot control everything in life, as well as the relationship between the player, the game, and the characters inside.
It is a pixel-based RPG, with art handmade by a group of talented creators, and backing music created by wonderful musicians.
Our artstyle blends typical RPG pixel art, with stunningly-crafted photoshop assets, that are placed around the overworld. Battle sprites are also rendered in this photoshop style, with a few exceptions.
The game itself plays out as half puzzle-based, and half bullet hell. Huge inspirations taken from UNDERTALE, DELTARUNE, OFF, LISA, and ONESHOT, as well as other games that have influenced our artstyle and music style.
In bullet hell, you can use CHARMS to trigger special moves, to help you combat the onslaught of bullets. Outside of it, you can use MANTRAs, which can give you an added bonus abilty in battle.
The game features minigames and fun sequences, and is filled with quirky, enjoyable dialogue for you to soak in as you play.
Game features an emphasis on surrealist content, as well as sometimes horror. Play with caution, dreamer.
Demo release is planned for late 2026 - Early 2027.
