Here's a little review for anyone curious about the game or the developer. This game is hard to pin. The graphics are all really good apart from some of the early enemy spaceships being the exception, the sound is really good except where there is none. I love the music when it's around and the effects are neat but the silence really throws me off on the menus. The gameplay is the hardest part to describe. I started extremely intrigued by the ship customization. Then I did the first level and was really bored. I got a look at the neat upgrade system and branching paths and was once again intrigued. Then I played the boring second level. I didn't want to give up on it yet so I got my upgrade and moved on. The third level was actually kind of fun with ships that seemed to be a threat. I actually started using some of the mechanics at this point because it wasn't so stupidly easy. Then the level became stupidly easy. Listen, I love so much about this game but it falls flat in some parts. As soon as I'm really into something it fails me. The graphics set a standard then killed it. The music set a standard but then showed how little they'll apply the music at all. The gameplay started abysmal, became fun for a moment, then went back to being abysmal. Little dev tip, most things in your game should be interesting, don't put something there as the "easy and kind of lame" beginning. Start with some interesting enemies, maybe create some weird types of enemies to throw off someone. Just don't put "flies straight and might shoot idk". Overall given the state the game is in I'd give it a 4/10. It has enough really amazing stuff to not be completely worthless as a game, but it also has some glaring flaws that kill everything good it did.
I love this game reminds me of prototype on snes which sends shivvers down my spine
New review for anyone currently interested in pre-order. The game is fucking amazing do it. How do I know? After writing the first review they let me beta test the game, which has gone under so many AMAZING changes, including a massive graphic overhaul, massive sound overhaul, and massive gameplay overhaul. The game's gameplay is a fast pased (and by that I mean it blatantly has dashing as a main mechanic) space shooter with Binding of Isaac style upgrades that make the game a lot more unpredictable and fun. These devs are amazing at what they do and deserve the money, and I can confirm the end product is worth $6, hell, I'd 100% be fine paying the standard indie $10-$15. Please support this game!
So, after making just fnaf fan games as practice, I'm going to be making full on games, but for this game, I'm curious, I'm going to make my full on games cost money, so just curious here, how much money did you make from this game? :3
11$??? first make it free once people really like it then charge it for 11$
