LISA: The Pointless - Ultimate Modpack

Been meaning to say this for a while, but in general, I just wanted to say that I found the general premise of this whole mod pack to be a very cool take on the Pointless experience. Now, as someone that's only had experience with Infinity Unfolds prior to trying this bad boy, I can't say with certainty what content is original to this mod pack and what comes from other mods, and I certainly don't have a frame of reference for the best Pointless difficulty experience, but I generally found all the new fights, content, and secrets to be discovered to be a blast and very much appreciate how you took the time to compile all of Pointless's fan content into one big package! Part of me wonders if some of the enemies drop a bit too much in the way of supplies, but really, I'm likely just overthinking it with how the extra drops are likely a necessity to make sure that Agony mode's a playable/interesting experience and not just frustrating, so it's probably nothing to fuss over.

Additionally, being able to play around with Copper Silver as a party member was just a blast (ESPECIALLY when I acquired his most powerful move. I legit cackled like a madman when I found out it could inflict brain damage), the entire sub quest with Flaco was a very cool/interesting thing to see with how it not only nets you a VERY useful Velvet-Fu technique for Alex, gives you a very welcome advantage during Arnold's 2nd phase, and I particularly liked that you legit have the option to resolve the whole issue with that franchiser he scammed nonlethally by giving him the gold brollex. Killed the dude on my first playthrough and legit felt like shit for it with how he was one of the more sane/lucid Jerseyheads, so it was a very cool surprise to discover that you can save him.

The biggest points of criticism of criticism I only got for this mod currently is the abudance of (non game-breaking, but still promiment) glitches in downtown, like all the areas where Alex just walks over a gap/fall through the floor and being able to fight Roland and Richie again in the area where you're supposed to fight Barry, and most prominently, all the spelling/grammar issues dotted throughout, but I understand that this is still a project that/s in the works and that you likely have a lot of stuff you're already working on for it, so at the moment, I can if nothing else confirm that I don't recall encountering anything particularly game breaking.

But yeah, in general, I just wanted to express that I find the work you're doing with this mod pack to be INCREDIBLY cool, was delighted to find it as a big LISA and Pointless fan, and am eagerly looking forward to future updates with how many party members you got in the works.

That being said, to avoid feature creep/development hell, I'd certainly recommend that instead of doing anything like with a giant mega update that has everything, you focus on baby steps and instead bring out small updates that come with bug fixes/patches along with a new party member.

Hey, I had an idea on how you could incorporate a goofy mod in an interesting and kinda serious way, that being Alex’s Armstrong Style from AHAP. The idea goes as follows, after beating Fly in a shopping cart races, along side your regular rewards, you also obtain a martial arts VHS that you’re unable to get any use out of. You can use it as a barter item to get a few goodies, but if you hold into it until you reach Downtown, and specifically the room with a VHS player, you can watch the VHS, where it’s revealed to be an instructional tape Brad made to teach the basics of Armstrong style. After watching it, Alex, the quick learner that he is, picks up on the techniques shown on the tape, learning Armstrong style. Depending on how you want it to be implemented, Armstrong Style’s combo dial would either be available as a second basic attack option for Alex with the Armstrong skills being added to his already existing skill menu or add a skill called Style Change where Alex could switch between Velvet-Fu and Armstrong Style’s combo dials and skill menus at the cost of a turn. Obviously there would need to be a few concessions that would need to be worked out, since Armstrong Style is stronger than Velvet-Fu in universe due to Armstrong Style being an actual fighting style while Velvet-Fu is a scam, so perhaps skill costs for Armstrong Style’s techniques could have higher costs to use but deals more damage while Velvet-Fu is weaker but more SP efficient.

This modpack is very cool, but please add a guide like Infinty Unfolds has, since there's so many additions/changes. I remember last update I got confused by some of the choices and events.
