best game ever

This game won't start for me, it crashes on the initial load. Most other games here on GameJolt work just fine though, might need to be re-uploaded?
Wow this was a weird but fun game to play. The music was cool, the art style and graphics went well together and it somehow stuck to the main point of Ernest Hemingway's, The old man and the sea (the book this game is inspired by). I have to say I liked your version way better than the original and even thouhg the action part was hard as heck, it was still an enjoyable and funny strategy/action game. I did a quick video on my experiance with the game if anyone is interested.

The assignment
At the Cologne Game Lab we get all sorts of assignments, from making a serious war game to one about a unicorn farting bacon strips. This semester the assignment was to create an adaptation of the 1952 novel "The Old Man And The Sea" by Ernest Hemingway.
The idea
So as we - Zein Okko and Myself - discussed the way we would create this adaptation, we immediately though of robots to give the story a twist. Also we considered the book to have two main parts. A slow endurance test and an action battle. "Perfect combination for a videogame", we thought, so we began working on the game, that we would have three weeks to finish immediately.
The game
In the end we had a strategy game, where you collect resources for your ship while trying to catch the enemy ship. A lot of minigames will try to get you off the track, but if you endure eventually you will get the ship and face the action part of the game.
The controls
You will need a mouse and a keyboard for this game to work. During the strategy game you'll basically only need the left mouse button, while on the action part you'll need the "WASD"-Keys, the Spacebar and the mouse.
