The Dony Arcade

My review on The Dony Arcade.

The pixel art in my opinion is all over the place...

It's ok, but the shift in sizes of pixel sprites, the way of things that are shaded, it looks kind of odd, it's not too bad but it still looks off in a way.

The dialogue text has a low resolution, there are faded pixels, and it looks out of place. Along with the inconsistency of the outlines. There is also no prompt shown to proceed into the dialogue as the player would have to figure that out for themselves, it doesn't take long to find out how to progress but still I think it should've been there.

Aside from the interesting art design, let's look at the content itself.

The game is more like a celebration from past games, which is a cool idea. I am also a fan of the development history library here, reading these development facts from different games are satisfying to read. I wish more information was added, because it was cool reading all of these facts.

I like these little easter eggs thrown inside the game, I find them neat.

Now let's see the games. Unfortunately there were only 2 games I could find in this collection, I really hope more was added (or add all of the games from its library).

Tag Classic is interesting. Not really anything much, it was just a simple dodge game with a timer. The game is a little fun, wish there were more to this game, the enemy AI felt a little too hard with it's smooth gliding.

This game was a little fun as well, again it is simple but cool. I like the new enemy twists added into this game.

Overall this collection is fine but has a lot of potential to be a greater one. Maybe add more games to it, add new missions, videos, osts to these games and a museum where you can see many different art illustrations. I provided this same feedback to @Papichi05 's K&F Tristar Collection.
