What do you think?

While it's a shame you didn't finish, I think the game stands on it's own feet anyway. The mood is excellent, it gives up this cool hard boiled seventies gangster feel. The art you did get in is also beautiful, and I think the card mechanic works well.

I find it intriguing that after five minutes of playing there's so many names and clues that makes me confused (in a good way). It makes the whole thing seem more realistic. It's an interesting game!

I've just had a first chance to play - but I already like the overall mood and the card system. Original (at least for me) and quite functional. So far I enoyed what I saw. Congratulations

I think you had the best UI in all entries! I know it doesn't sound much, but I think that for this kind of game it's really important! It feels fluid and easy to understand, and I think it's quite clever as the player will have to organize himself, in a visual way, to keep track of everything. So it really fits the genre.

Great work, I would love to see more!

Like the game and concept and art style. I hope you will keep working on it and finish it (im interested in seeing how it ends) and perhaps add more content/stories. I'd pay for a fully fleshed out game like this.

I encountered a bug you might already know about; when i advanced time by 2 hours at the Office location a message said closing time, wouldn't close. Note: i hope there isnt a double post as it seems my comment wasn't registering..

I encountered a bug you might already know about; when i advanced time by 2 hours at the Office location a message said closing time, better go back to home (cant recall exact words) I RMB clicked on that message to close it but it wouldn't close. I tried going to motel and the message box was still open and finally went back home and still there.

Some Suggestions: 1) Allow cards to be stacked like a Solitaire card game 2) A zoom in function so we can zoom in to read cards better (i played this on my tv- probably the only reason to add this idea i guess or if you planned to release on mobile fones as well)

A missing person, a shady investigation, the mob on your back... Only your deductive skills will allow you to make progress in this difficult case.

"The Missing Daughter" is a card-based investigation game made for #AdvJam2019 under 2 weeks. It features a unique mechanic to investigate, gather clues and interrogate people.

We hope you enjoy the game and its innovative mechanic. We'd also like to hear what you thought of the game, so don't be a stranger and drop a comment below!

Thank's and enjoy!
