just played through the whole chapter and i have to say that it's AWESOME! it has very nice controls, unique movement (not a chessboard-like that's present in most RPG Maker games but a pixel-by-pixel one!), great puzzles and perfectly captures the feeling of the original Castle Crashers!) there's lots of enemies to fight, bosses to challenge and locations to traverse) i especially liked the way you used the boulders in this game - the way you move them by simple tackling them is quite genius, and i loved the use of the boulder in that forest area where you need to block off the barbarian camp!) the overworld sprites also look awesome and very well made - Matt, if you made them themself then you have some talent in you!
my only complaint about the game is that it's a mesh of two languages - the dialogue is in english while everything else is in another language - i'm sorry if i confuse it with any other language but i think it's spanish..? anyway, that's only a small issue, though - you can understand most of the other-language text intuitively, so, it's all good!)
all in all, this was a blast to play through a small but very nice game with fast-paced exploration and combat, well-done sprites and puzzles and some great level design to go along with all of it, too!) MattTheDumb, thank you for sharing this game with us - i wish you best of luck, nerves of steel and lots of inspiration when developing the next part of the fourth chapter and any future endeavors you might embark on!) take care!
