What do you think?

Honestly, the game looks great from what I've seen. (Bonus points for the PSX aesthetic.) It's important to remember that this is your game. You're in control and you get to make the creative decisions at the end of the day. I love a good experimental horror so don't be afraid to try something different. Indie game dev is all about learning the engine and figuring out your own unique style.

looking forward to checking it out! looks good so far, the trailer is a nice touch most dont even consider, well done.

I think it looks good so far. Bodies stuffed in closet, check. Flashlight with a good amount of brightness, check. Red-eyed mystery fellow, check. I'm looking forward to the release.

I looked at the page and the game looks good from the page, just make sure you put a lot of time into the jump scares, a good horror game has a nice clear storyline and good jump scares. Furthermore, keep it interesting. Just walking along a road and interacting with NPCs can get boring. find a nice way to do that. I don't know if you use voices for the NPCs, but I often prefer this if they sound good. also brings more life to a game. Furthermore, I am very curious about the game and I will definitely make a video of it. Good luck.

i think you need to add some more context on why your walking down the road alone.

idk if the npcs are random that you encounter but that could add some replay value to see new characters apear every time you start the game.

as for the Dialogue Ui i would say the left option since the right option makes think about 2d pixel art styled game rather then a 3D horror game unless you wanted that to happen.

Keep it going and i wish you luck on making a playable build int he future :D

The story of “The Walk” starts with Matt, who is traveling on a back road to get to a friend's house. After several hours of driving, his car breaks down after going through a tunnel. Matt finds himself in a town called “Nominal Town” and, with no towing options, decides to look for lodging. While walking through the dark streets, he meets a blind man who offers to stay in his house. Matt declines the offer, but the blind man warns him that the town is full of crazies and that at the end of the road there is only nothingness.

Matt continues on his way and stops at a store where the cashier is also surprised to learn that Matt is looking for a house at the end of town, since, according to him, there is only empty field there. Despite the warnings, Matt continues on. On the way, he encounters an old woman on the road who reacts strangely...
