I'd like to ask about trophies, can they be acquired offline and be submitted to Gamejolt during online OR must they be acquired online?
On other note, I keep getting crash when playing online. Not sure the cause
Brutal cool shooter game!
It's not like Metal Slug nor Contra with lack of ability to shoot downwards and shoot while crouching but it's well designed shooter nonetheless :)
Final boss is really brutal, I need lots of practice to dodge its burst attack. I wish this attack could be toned down much or changed to targetted shots
I think the Spike gun placed on top of canopy is best replaced by temporary invincibility powerup ;)
Regardless, I love enemy design, level design and boss design. Great work!
BTW I downloaded this game before trophies were added so looks like I'll be redownloading this game

This is MY Planet is a side-scrolling shooter inspired by the Metal Slug series. This is my first time developing an indie game so I would definetely appreciate any feedback or criticism from anyone who decides to play it.
So anyway, this game is about a race of Rat People from the Moon wanting to invade the Earth. You play as Donny, a cyborg built by the Earth People to defend their planet. Simple as that.
The game has 3 areas and each one adds new enemies to make things more challenging. The game has no failure state, it's pretty much about racking up as high a score as possible until the game ends. However, if you lose all your lives, you get a score penalty so you still have to watch out.
It also has 2 unlockable extras which I wont explain what they are here (you''ll just have to play the game for yourself to see them)
That's pretty much all you ned to know, the controls are explained in the game.
If any of you find any bugs or glitches, please contact me immediately so I can fix them.
