Well it's true that water is slower than the mouse, but due to low res, I had to pause after each jump to see the next platform. And in the end, water could catch up

Use ARROW or AWSD keys to MOVE and JUMP
Press "M" to toggle ENDLESS mode.
Press "X" to toggle between WINDWO SIZE modes.
Press "C" to toggle between COLOR palettes.
Tips and facts:
Don't get nervous, be consistent, water is always slower than you.
You CAN get out of the water if you are close to the surface swimming throught the platforms, not easy though.
You only need to run for long jumps.
The cheese is not that far! Go for it!
