Cool idea, but from what I can tell, it's actually pretty basic. I ran around, and eventually changed colors. Then, I spammed left click, and shot bullets into seemingly invincible enemies...
Tower Factions is a top down action shooter full of high octane action and bullets like you've never see them before!!!! Different bullets, more bullets, so many bullets...im tired...
To link to the #ggj14 theme, we have a unique gameplay aspect which maintains player focus through never dying in the game, instead, upon death, they see the world from the perspective of their attacker.
Thanks to the way we've used the theme, we are able to introduce the player to dialogue trees from the different factions within the high rise tower block through radio chatter.
"Did you hear what happened to Jenkins?"
"I heard he took the bosses coffee"
"NOT THE BOSSES COFFEE....THAT ASSHOLE"
This is just a small snippet of the genious exposition to occur within the game...ahem
