Story

There's a king who doesn't like Tux at all and will do anything it takes to get rid of Tux, including sending his army of computers, so now Tux must defeat that king. And no, as funny as it would be, the king is not Bill Gates or any Microsoft CEO.

Info

This is inspired by Turrican II and Super Mario Bros.

Also, I know the game name "Tux Platforming" is very basic and could be better, but I want to keep it as basic as possible.

Tux Platforming is now on Tangled! The media repository will stay on GitHub for those who want to contribute but don't know how to use Git in the terminal or gui (git actually includes a program similar to GitHub Desktop)

I feel like I changed the art style of Tux Platforming for basically no reason, so it will be the same art style as the haxeflixel version (so basically like the old supertux art style)

by the way, the volcanic penguins idea from the old version of this game's wiki has been moved to a different project i want to make at some point.

i finally know what i want tux platforming to be like

so basically, there will still be worlds and bosses, it'll just be 6 worlds with 6 levels, but the rest of the stuff in new tux platforming will likely stay the same

A new enemy - the Computer!

I know it's similar to the SuperTux BSOD enemy, looking like a Windows 10 version of it.

I know this looks kind of bad, unfortunately I still haven't decided what style the game should be in now.

With the new Godot "remake" of Tux Platforming, I'm sort of following the "Just make it exist first, you can make it good later" thing.

Read article for more info, it explains why the game looks like that right now.

Also, while I am working on Tux Platforming again, I am also working on 1 other thing (PepperTux development is currently paused but will be worked on again soon) so don't expect it to release any time soon (although it will release, just not soon)

Tux Platforming is gonna be remade in Godot! Read article for more info.

I know it seems weird to post to Tux Platforming while not working on it (don't worry, I will likely work on it at some point after PepperTux), but read the article for more info about what this post is about.
