"Hi there! Welcome to the town of Wispol, a cute little settlement right in the middle of a diverse range of beautiful ecosystems. There is plenty to do in our sweet community: visit our pub for a few drinks with some future friends, cruise around for some of our local cuisine, find community at our divine chapel, get in touch with your green thumb at our town garden, or wander to find some of our fiery little namesakes of legend, the adorable will o' the wisp!"

You've just moved to the much smaller town of Wispol with your mother leaving behind your big city life to take over an old relative's place. The tiny town's big seller is that they are a hotspot for sightings of the mythical being, the "will o' the wisp". The residents and a few tourists swear they're real, but nobody else really believes it. The excuse among the locals for never having a live specimen is that they dissipate to escape. Before you moved your friend dared you to try to find them. Do you think you can?

This game has 24 endings in full, each being triggered by different combinations of found wisps. There's 7 main areas to explore and 2 secret ones, each being a habitat for new kinds of wisps to find! There's also added side quests as well to find certain wisps where you can choose good or bad paths. While exploring you can look at all of the cute wisps you've found so far in a compact notebook that you get in the beginning that has the species, habitat, age, birthday, rarity, and a bit of lore of the wisp. (Disclaimer: I made the info in December 2019, so the birthday/age are figured from there, and switching from day to night does not influence these) Also make sure to read the READ_ME file included in the game folder for the controls, credits, etc. Also remember to check everywhere, wisps are elusive little creatures after all!
