Wonderpants

Wonderpants is originally a game project I made in a single day. I spent roughly eight hour on the initial design and it is very craptastic. I continued to work on it after the initial one day project was over. Deciding I would turn it into an actual game that was enjoyable to play. I refined it (if you can call it that) into the build known as 0.0.3. However upon reflection I was not happy with the look, the art style. I did like Wonderpants himself, but he was just an 8x8 sprite.

So, since then (about two weeks ago as of writing this on 02/12/2016) I have been working on completely redesigning the game from the ground up. New graphics, new gameplay, the whole thing. Initially it was going to be just a graphic redesign, but my vision of the game has since evolved, and is becoming something unique.

Read the dev logs if you want the more grand vision of my game. It will remain a platformer with elements from SMB3 and Mega Man, along with its own unique elements. There will also be an rpg twist that I have actually yet to talk about in the devlogs, but I will.

So play the 0.0.3 version if you like, or wait for 0.0.4 which will feature an entirely redesigned game, with actual enjoyable gameplay and visuals. Wonderpants will remain the same, as I do like his changing color scheme and design, he's got a 32x32 sprite now though.
