1000+ plays! Thank you!

Hi everyone!

I just noticed that “Cookie Run!” has been played more than 1000 times, 1085 at the time of writing, and all thanks to you people!

This makes me very happy, I didn’t expect that my first public game would actually be played so many times and for such a long time!

I get an average of 7 plays each day, no idea who plays and from where, I’d love to know though!

Regarding the game, I am waiting for the artist to make a cute, textless, one-page instructions picture that will replace the written instructions, resulting in better consistency and eliminating any possible language barrier.

Thing is, the artist really has no time, having a fulltime job and more, and I don’t want to press her.
She receives no money from this (unless it becomes big, but I doubt it and it’s not even finished) and she delivers as soon as she has time, as you can see by what she did with the platforms and the background :)

In the meantime I bought a cheap tablet and a cheap music keyboard, in order to make my own graphics (pixel, no drawing skills) and music (maybe) in case the need arises in future games. I’d also like to make a game by myself, in order to gain an insight of the challenges faced by all the members of a team.

Goodbye then, and thanks again for playing my game, I really appreciate it!

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.

Made my first ever animation.

We're knee deep in multiple large features and "game feel". Quick peek behind the scenes in this weeks Dev Blog: https://bit.ly/2QmmaQM
