17.04.2013. - Going out!

Hello everyone,

thank you for having interest in my game. I started working on this game 2 weeks ago. It’s not my first game project but it’s probably the biggest one yet.

I would like to say a few things about the game background.

First, it’s a horror platformer. I didn’t see or play a lot them. And the ones I played were quite good and atmospheric and that makes me work harder on sticking to the roots of the genre.

Second, the scare factor will not consist of jumpscares. What I’m aiming for is to create a good atmosphere while you are solving puzzles or trying to find a way to, for example, escape the room. I won’t tell you if there are monsters. But if there is any mobile danger in the game….it won’t just look at you.

Third, and last, I agree that every game relies on the community. Because of this, I would like everyone who has suggestions or questions of interest to write them. I will read and reply to all of them. Constructive criticism is also welcome.

Thanks for taking time to read this (first) post. In future, I won’t go ‘philospohy’ mode in posts like these but check them out every now and then where I will write about my game progress and post more info!

This Halloween... Greetings, besides college and working on ‘Dark Cell: Remastered’ there is another project I’m cooking up. Here is a quick teaser :)

We are under attack!

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

I was bored, so... ManutKat.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
