a lot of people where confused or even mad cz of how much the game is different from og sp!dusttale

soo here's my official explanation 🥔


first of, sp!dusttale don't forget isn't canon at all to the og sp!dusttale story line, it's just me making stuff up using og sp!dusttale as a pillar for the story 🥔

now, what actually is sp!dusttale don't forget ?

well basically.. it's a prequel, that's it 🥔

so you know how in og dusttale sans gets his memories deleted after every run ? making him think it's the first time he's killed all of his friends every time the player resets

well in this game the exact same thing happened, except after an "X" amount of resets sans slowly but surely starts realizing what's actually happening, leading sans to the reality of the situation

when sans learned the truth his end goal changed, completely abandoning the idea of stopping the human, rather opting for a much simpler goal witch was to remember the truth

cz you know... sp!dusttale DON'T FORGET

so ye after the game ends the idea is that the human resets like usual AAAND then the og sp!dusttale story line starts playing

so ye this game is basically just dusttale sans breaking out of the loop 🥔

if you find any loopholes or unconsistency in the store then em, womp womp who actually cares? the story was a second thought anyways 🥔👍
